Following the call for nominations during the month of February we received 5 nominations for the vacancies which had 6 spaces available. As such there will be no necessity to go to a vote.

PSA publishes discussion document for review of Code of Practice

The Phone-paid Services Authority (PSA) has published the discussion document for its Code of Practice review. This is the first opportunity for stakeholders to provide input into the review of the PSA’s regulatory framework.

The discussion document provides an overview of the review and includes a summary of:

  • the review’s objectives and scope
  • an assessment of the market and consumers’ behaviours, experiences and expectations
  • the PSA’s proposed assessment framework
  • the PSA’s early thinking on its future regulatory strategy.

MWC 2020 is cancelled

“With due regard to the health and safety environment in Barcelona and the host country, the GSMA has cancelled MWC Barcelona 2020 because the global concern regarding the coronavirus outbreak, travel concern and other circumstances, which make it impossible for the GSMA to hold the event.”

However as discussed in Telemedia Online this week, many of those who were due to attend the conference still plan to go out to Barcelona and will attend an unofficial MWC. Are you one of them, and if so what are your plans?

Next-generation energy switching management, with Bounce – from Global and Ideavate
