Vodafone Ireland appoints SLA Digital as Managed Service Provider for Direct Carrier Billing

 Irish mobile operator, Vodafone Ireland, has appointed SLA Digital as their managed service provider for Direct Carrier Billing for their 1.96 million subscribers.

SLA Digital has a previously long-standing relationship with Vodafone Ireland, providing the mobile operator with the platform to enable carrier billing. Vodafone Ireland’s customers are already able to make payments for digital content including app stores, streaming services and games by charging purchases to their mobile account.

The new partnership agreement means that Vodafone Ireland will be able to delegate new services to SLA Digital for onboarding, integration and business support. SLA Digital, in turn, will provide digital content providers with seamless access to carrier billing.

SLA Digital has partnered with Spuul, one of the most popular Indian movie streaming platforms, to increase their direct carrier billing connections, enabling more customers to pay by mobile.

With more than 47 million registered users across the world, Spuul is a video on demand streaming service with more than 10,000 hours of Bollywood movies and TV shows in multiple languages for customers to enjoy ad-free.
