Make an afternoon of it this month!

On the 29th January why not join aimm for two interesting events and save on the travel!

At 15:00 we will be running our first General Meeting of the year, where the Board will be providing a deeper look into the strategy and direction that they have been working hard on. This is based on members views and feedback that we have been collating over the last few months, ensuring that we focus aimm in the directions that will have maximum benefit for all our members.

Then following this at 18:00 it will be our first networking evening of the year just around the corner in a lovely location with private bar. Come and join us and other members across the interactive media industries to have a catch up over a drink or two and make some new contacts, and get your 2019 business plans off to a head start with new collaboration opportunities.

Making Interactive Media Pay at World Telemedia

This week many of the interactive media companies from across Europe have converged in Marbella to take part in World Telemedia. With 3 days packed with speakers, presentations, and companies to meet across the venue it is one of the popular autumn destinations for businesses who want to learn more about monetising and improving carrier billing  and value added services.

Spotlight Sessions are running over the event with a variety of speakers and topics to suit everyone’s tastes. If you are at World Telemedia why not go along and listen to our very own Joanna Cox speak at 10.00am tomorrow (Wednesday) on ‘Making Interactive Media Pay’.

The engagement landscape has changed beyond recognition but the desire to interact has never been stronger. From game shows, to lotteries and from interactive TV to charities, how can your business fit into a winning format; with ‘must have’ interaction and fair monetisation that keeps the audience coming back for more?

Golf just got good!

We are pleased to introduce our two sponsors for the day mGage and Enarpee. Our Golf Day is only two weeks ago now and our teams are booked and ready to go, and our sponsors are making this event extra special with their involvement .

mGage have kindly provided the awards for both the Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin competitions, and have organised the golf balls that will be given to our players at the start of the day in their survival packs, to help the day get started with a swing!

Enarpee will be in charge of the refreshments buggy this year, making sure our players have chilled drinks and snacks to keep them going as they make their way across the course.

We would like to thank both our sponsors for their support with this day, and hope that everyone has a good time on the green.

aimm says goodbye to Rory

Changes to the Executive structure at aimm

As announced to aimm members last month, the new aimm Board has decided to change the Executive Team structure to ensure that the diverse needs and the concerns of all of the aimm membership are understood and accurately reflected.

Rory Maguire, after 5 years at the helm of aimm will be stepping back at the end of June to focus on his consultancy business, handing the baton to General Manager Joanna Cox who starts in August.

The aimm Board and the Executive team will be working together to look at the strategy and focus of aimm going forwards, to ensure that all our members continue to feel their voice is heard through their trade association, and aimm continues to support its membership through this period of progression.

We would like to thank Rory for all his hard work during these past years. He has worked tirelessly on important regulatory and business issues which has resulted in improvements and changes across industry, benefiting our members businesses and the wider industry as a whole.
