EE hosted a workshop on 21st November 2017 and invited aimm executive, aimm members including MNOs, digital merchants, intermediaries, monitoring companies as well as Google, PSA and other interested parties to examine the increasing amount of advertising for premium rate services that is falling into Apps primarily designed for children.
This creates parental issues when the child accepts charges to the account and EE is keen to work across industry to resolve the issue. These notes are a summary of conclusions formed during the workshop.
