“Society Lotteries” are raffles and lotteries that are promoted for charitable causes. Two well known ones are the Health Lottery and the Postcode Lottery. Approximately 46 Society Lottery Management Companies operate smaller lotteries for other charities and generate over £500m revenue per annum of which 46% goes to charities. The rest makes up the prize money, promotion and administration costs.
None of these lotteries operate a text based call to action… until now.
