aimm has been successfully representing members’ interests to key regulators since 1995. aimm is at the forefront of regulatory change, ensuring that Members’ collaborative views on regulation are heard. aimm analyses every consultation released to check whether Member’s businesses could be affected and will then organise and deliver a response to the regulator, after member’s views and responses are collaborated. When a new consultation is released aimm will reach out to its members to call for feedback before delivering a considered and measured response.

  • 14/03/2014 Code of Practice (12th Edition) Review Call for Inputs
    In July PhonepayPlus will be consulting on future changes to the 12th Code of Practice, which are required for the commencement of Non-Geographic Numbering Unbundling in 2015, as well as other changes to improve regulatory efficiency and “future proof” the Code. PhonepayPlus approached AIME for a response to the proposals ahead of work commencing on the full consultation. Members were invited to comment on the proposals and this has been consolidated into AIME’s feedback to frame the ongoing discussions in the lead up to and throughout the full consultation later this year. AIME will be seeking working groups with PhonepayPlus over the coming months to explore and refine these ideas further.
