The Dept for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy are consulting on their new consultation entitled “Reforming Competition and Consumer Policy“.

The consultation covers proposals under 3 themes on which BEIS are seeking views:

  • promoting competition to drive enterprise, innovation, growth, and productivity
  • updating consumer rights to keep pace with markets
  • strengthening the enforcement of consumer law by individuals and regulators

This consultation includes the promotion and ongoing operation of subscription services. We will be discussing this consultation with members to gather their views.
