The AIME Guidance document for Charitable Gift Aid Collection after Text based Donation has been drafted and is now available for members.
After sending a draft Guidance Document out to members in the Broadcast Charity working group for input and feedback, modifications and improvements have been made to reflect this.
The Guidance includes explanations on what Gift Aid is, the recommended declaration and wording of requesting Gift Aid, recommendations and current practice for text response for gift aid: via sending a text link to an online micro site or via text.
This guidance document aims to cover details that should benefit smaller charities as well as large scale charities.
