aimm Executive team
The aimm Executive are the main core of aimm and the team of people you will have day to day contact with.
The Executive handles the communication with members and administration of the association, including drafting responses and requests to regulators, governments and industry.
The Exec are also responsible for producing all aimm literature, consultations and white papers, managing the aimm website and our social media presence, and organising and representing aimm and its members at all regulatory, internal and external events. We organise the regular aimm member meetings and working groups and any current industry initiative meetings.
In addition, the Executive’s responsibilities include financial management, marketing and general administration.
Rory Maguire – Managing Director
Rory has been on the Board of aimm since 2006 and stepped in as interim Managing Director of aimm in September 2013. He was offered the permanent position in December 2014. Since joining aimm Rory has worked hard on keeping aimm’s members interests at the heart of what we do, with constant and tireless dedication to ensuring that relevant regulatory matters and changes to law offer the best outcome to the industries in which aimm operates.
Julia Freeman – Head of Business Development & Communications
Julia joined in August 2016. Her role with aimm is to support members and to develop aimm’s communication strategies both internally and externally. She maximises PR opportunities and is responsible for increasing membership and seeking market development opportunities.
Julia has over 20 years experience in the direct marketing and direct response advertising fields. Much of her career has been in London working at key agencies such as Proximity and Rapier where she was Client Services Director and a board member. During her career Julia has worked across most industry sectors including charities.
Andrea Putnam-Moorcroft – Operations & Events Manager
Andrea joined aimm in March 2014 and has come from a background of office management and creative work. She has now taken on the running of aimm’s media presence, as well as organising their internal events for members.
Catherine Easton – Finance Controller
Catherine is responsible for keeping the finances of aimm running smoothly and ensuring that everyone’s membership is activated. Catherine has been with aimm since 2012.
