Thanks to supporters, our pioneering work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer has helped save millions of lives. Over the past 40 years survival has doubled, thanks to the great progress research has made.

Channel 4 transmits across the whole of the UK, except some parts of Wales, which are covered by the Welsh language S4C. It is available on all digital platforms (terrestrial, satellite and cable) as well as through traditional analogue transmission.

Channel 5 is a multi-award-winning public service broadcaster (PSB) and the UK’s third largest commercial TV station, reaching over 31 million viewers a month.

The free to air broadcaster’s agenda-driving commissions and distinctive British programming lead on societal issues, aiming to tell the story of modern Britain by reflecting the lives of people across the UK.

We work all year round to help make our vision a reality. In the years since we started out in 1985, with the support of some remarkable people, we’ve achieved amazing things and raised over £1 billion. We raise millions of pounds, mainly through our two big fundraising campaigns: Red Nose Day and Sport Relief.
