We are a not-for-profit trade association and only process information necessary to establish or maintain membership or support and to provide or administer activities for people who are members of the organisation or have regular contact with it.
We only share this information with people and organisations necessary to carry out the organisation’s activities and only with the individual or organisations permission and we only keep the information while the individual or organisation is a member and for seven years thereafter purely for financial and administration purposes.
As such, we are exempted from registration as a Data Controller, but we operate our policies in compliance with UK data protection legislation and the Privacy in Electronic Communications Regulation 2003 (PECR)
What information do we collect on this website?
We may collect two basic types of information:
- Personally identifying information e.g. your name, address, email address, mobile telephone number and any other information that you submit to the website for the purposes of contacting us. This information is converted to an email and sent to us and then deleted from the websites servers.
How do we use your information?
The information you provide to us is used in a variety of ways, including:
-To send you material relevant to our services and generally for the purposes set out in our published terms and conditions

We do our best protect your personal data including, where appropriate, through to use of encryption technology but we cannot guarantee the security of any data you disclose. Communications by email or telephone are not secure unless encrypted. We cannot accept any responsibility for any unauthorised access or loss of personal information that is beyond our reasonable control.
Where reasonable to do so we may transfer your personal information to Association Members located in countries outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”). The data protection and other laws of these countries may not be as comprehensive as in the EU and where this is the case we will exercise all reasonable endeavours to ensure your privacy rights are respected.
